INTERVENTION SERVICES

Assessments

CADA’s assessments are confidential, in-depth, personal evaluations designed to detect alcohol or chemical dependency problems in adults and adolescents.  The assessments are performed by an on-staff, licensed counselor who can determine the nature of the problem, as well as provide the recommended course of action to help address the problem.  The assessment team also offers referrals to an appropriate treatment provider when necessary.

All assessments are clinically-based, non-biased, confidential and comprehensive.  Offered in both English and Spanish, CADA’s assessment team uses nationally recognized and standardized evaluation tools.

CADA’s assessment services are affordable and convenient.  We schedule morning and afternoon appointments Monday through Friday at the CADA office and one day per week in St. Charles Parish.  CADA offers free parking and is located near the public bus route.

To schedule an assessment, call (504) 362-4272 or email jlalumia@cadagno.org

EAP (Employee Assistance Program)

Alcohol and Substance Abuse in the workplace costs American employers $100 billion dollars annually.  Absenteeism, injury, employee turnover, and disciplinary problems due to alcohol or drug problems, causes strain on employers that cost much in terms of productivity, employee morale, and the bottom line.  CADA provides EAP packages to employers who wish to make available an Employee Assistance Program as a benefit to their employees.  The benefit to the employee is that they can get help at no cost to them and little cost to their employer.  EAP counselors provide assessment, support, short-term counseling, and if needed, referrals to additional resources.

To learn more about CADA’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), contact Anne Byrne at (504) 362-4272 or by email at admin@cadagno.org
