EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (ADULT & ADOLESCENT)
DWI/Driver
Improvement Course CADA conducts a 6 hour DWI/Driver Improvement Courses for persons who have received a DWI/DUI and need to complete the course as a condition through the courts. The class is approved by the courts as meeting their requirements. Persons must pre-register for classes. Courses are available in both Orleans Parish and St. Charles Parish. The cost for classes is $75.00 for two (3 hr) classes or $100.00 for 1 (6hr) course on a Saturday or for a class in Spanish.

Substance Abuse
Education CADA delivers Substance Abuse Education for adults who are referred through the courts, employers, counselors, and even through self-referrals. Courses are flexible, and attendees can select as many or as little course hours as they need, pre-selecting classes they are most interested in. Family members of all class attendees are welcome to attend the classes for free. Up to 24 hours of course time is available at a rate of $36.00 per 2 hr. class. (Payments are due at the time of the class. We accept cash, money order, or major credit card) Participants must be pre-registered to attend. Adolescent
Substance Abuse Class Youth, ages 13-17 may attend CADA’s Adolescent Substance Abuse Class. Youth are either referred by their school, parents, or self-referral. This 6 hr. course covers important information about alcohol and substance abuse and healthy decision making, and offers youth support in leading a lifestyle free from alcohol and drugs. Classes are taught over a 4 night period, with classes lasting 1 ˝ hrs. each. The cost of the total course is $100.00.

SENIOR
SERVICES CADA provides a 7-class “Healthy
Living” course to senior citizens at both senior day centers and independent
living centers across Jefferson and Orleans Parish. These fun and engaging
classes assist seniors by providing education in areas such as nutrition,
